A recent report by the World Health Organization (WHO) concluded that it found no adverse health effects for CBD (cannabis oil) users, but found several potential medical applications for cannabidiol.
According to a preliminary WHO report published in November 2017, natural CBD is safe and well tolerated by humans and animals and is not associated with adverse effects on public health.
Experts also said that CBD, a non-psychoactive substance found in cannabis, does not induce physical addiction and is not “associated with the potential for abuse.” The World Health Organization has also written that, unlike THC, people cannot use CBD as a drug.
