The main difference is in the substances contained (cannabinoids): CBD extract oil contains 0.2% THC, which is the permitted amount under EU law. In some EU countries, such as Sweden, THC is completely banned. There are also people who, due to their distrust of THC, prefer the CBD variant of oil with crystalline CBD.

Hemp oil with CBD extract – in this oil you will find a complete cocktail of cannabinoids that are found in the hemp flower. This means that it has a more effective and complex action in the body, because all cannabinoids support each other in their actions and complement each other. It has also been scientifically proven that CBD works best when combined with THC and other cannabinoids. Oil with CBD extract contains a legal amount of THC in Europe – 0.2%.

In the process of preparing hemp extract, 2 methods are used: either simple extraction with alcohol or by extracting CO2 from hemp flowers and leaves, after which the extract is mixed with a certain concentration of hemp seed oil.

Useful substances from plants can be drawn out with water, oil or alcohol, which is why extracts are also called “extracts”. Water can extract water-soluble substances, oil can extract oil-soluble substances, and alcohol can extract both. The resulting extract is also called “macerate” or “infusion”. Hemp leaves and hemp flowers are mixed with alcohol and all cannabinoid-containing cannabis plants are leached into alcohol. The alcohol is then separated from the pure hemp extract by evaporation.
CO2-extracts are complex fat-soluble complexes of bioactive substances that are extracted from plant materials using carbon dioxide compressed to a liquid state. During this process, the natural ingredients are preserved and can develop their full effect for later use.
