What is anxiety?
First, we need to clarify what anxiety really is. Anxiety disorders are the most common form of emotional stress and can affect anyone of any age. According to the American Psychiatric Association, anxiety disorder is more commonly diagnosed in women than men.
Researchers are not currently sure what exactly is causing concern. A combination of factors such as genetics, environmental factors and brain chemistry are likely to play a role.
In addition, researchers believe that areas of the brain responsible for controlling fear may be affected. Some parts of the brain are currently being researched, such as the amygdala (a small structure deep in the brain that processes threats) and the hippocampus (the area of your brain where memories of upcoming events are stored).

What is CBD?
The non-psychoactive cannabinoid CBD.
There are many different receptors in the human body. Receptors are proteinaceous chemical structures that attach to your cells. They receive signals from various stimulants. CBD interacts with CB1 and CB2 receptors. These receptors are mainly found in the central nervous system or in the peripheral nervous system.
The exact effects of CBD on CB1 receptors in the brain have not been fully investigated. However, it is known that it can alter serotonin signals.
Serotonin, a neurotransmitter, plays an important role in your mental health. Low serotonin levels are commonly associated with depression. In some cases, a lack of serotonin can also be problematic. However, there is evidence that CBD can help people deal with serotonin. Let’s find out if that’s the case.
Effects of CBD Oil on Anxiety
Clinical research on CBD for the treatment of anxiety disorders has gained ground in recent years, and evidence is accumulating pointing to its therapeutic potential.
While most research on CBD is preclinical and uses animal models, human clinical studies are emerging. 1 in 13 people in the world live with an anxiety disorder, making it the most common mental disorder in the world.
Regarding generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) reported that CBD has been shown to reduce stress in animals such as rats. Study subjects showed lower behavioral signs of anxiety. Their physiological symptoms of anxiety, such as increased heart rate, also improved.
CBD may also benefit people with other forms of anxiety such as social anxiety disorder (SAD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It may help treat insomnia caused by anxiety.
social anxiety disorder
Social anxiety disorder (also called social phobia) is a mental illness. This is a strong, constant fear of being noticed and judged by others. This fear can affect work, school, and other daily activities.
A small 2010 study found that cannabidiol could reduce symptoms of social anxiety in people with social anxiety disorder (SAD). The participants’ brain scans showed changes in blood flow in areas of the brain that are associated with feelings of anxiety. In this study, cannabidiol not only made the participants feel better, but also changed the way their brains responded to fear.
A 2011 study also found that cannabidiol can reduce social anxiety. For this study, researchers specifically investigated cannabidiol for the treatment of anxiety-related speech.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
PTSD is a chronic mental illness that can develop after a traumatic event. PTSD injuries affect the nervous system so that it loses its ability to regulate itself, resulting in psychological and physical stress.
Numerous recent studies have shown that CBD can help with symptoms of PTSD such as nightmares, recalling negative memories, reducing anxiety, and improving sleep, especially in people who do not respond well to conventional treatments. In these studies, CBD has been used as a standalone treatment for PTSD and as an adjunct to conventional treatments.
In a recent 2018 review, researchers found that CBD is a safe therapeutic alternative for the treatment of PTSD – with significant improvement in these symptoms, especially in reducing the persistence of bad memories.
Experts speculate that CBD’s potential benefits for depression are due to its positive effects on serotonin receptors in the brain, as depression is associated with low CBD levels. CBD doesn’t necessarily increase serotonin levels, but it can affect how your brain’s chemical receptors respond to the serotonin that’s already in your body.
An animal study in 2014 found that CBD’s effects on these brain receptors have both antidepressant and anxiolytic effects.
A more recent review of existing studies in 2018 found that CBD has an anti-stress effect that may reduce stress-related depression. This area is still being actively researched, with new studies and reviews being published every year.
Panic attacks
Panic attacks are episodes of debilitating anxiety and fear that occur suddenly and without a known trigger. Many people confuse them with life-threatening events such as heart attacks. Typically, each attack lasts ten minutes or less.
Panic disorder is a disabling condition. Researchers are currently looking into all of the potential health benefits of CBD products, including the use of CBD oil for panic attacks, anxiety symptoms, and other psychiatric disorders. These are the main symptoms of panic disorder. In addition, people with panic attacks often take medication for anxiety. This means coping with stress is an essential part of treating panic attacks.
The study of CBD and its impact on mental health and mood disorders is just beginning. So far, most research on CBD has been done on panic attacks in animals. However, there are several human and animal studies that support the anxiolytic effects of CBD in other mental illnesses. This study on the use of CBD for social anxiety disorder, which is another severe anxiety disorder, found that CBD reduced anxiety and likely affected activity in the limbic and paralimbic regions of the brain. These two areas are associated with fear and emotions.
Other human studies have shown that lower concentrations of the cannabinoid anandamide are associated with PTSD. As with panic disorder, panic attacks also occur in people with PTSD.
These results suggest that CBD may reduce levels of anxiety and panic attacks and may help reduce the anxiety and panic seen in panic disorders.
Dosage of CBD oil for anxiety
Regarding the dosage, we always say – a little can sometimes be a lot. Dosage is a very individual thing, so you need to find your own that works for your body. How exactly? Start small and gradually increase it until you feel improvement.
Some of the main factors you should consider when developing your CBD dose include:
Body weight
Metabolism
CBD concentration
The severity of your anxiety
The concentration of CBD varies between products and is usually expressed in milligrams (mg) and percentages.
Your unique body chemistry also influences how you respond to CBD. Some people metabolize drugs faster than others, which may be due to genes or lifestyle. If you know you are absorbing the medicine quickly, you may benefit from a higher dose.
What is my daily dose in mg?
Once you know the effectiveness of the CBD product you are holding, you can use the dosage calculator to select an approximate dosage. The dosage calculator can provide the recommended dose in milligrams based on your body weight and the severity of your symptoms.
Which CBD Product to Choose When Anxious?
There are many products on the market, as well as many ways to use CBD. You can choose the one that suits you best. Understanding the pros and cons of different eating methods can help you determine which food
Tinctures and oils are taken with a pipette, which makes it easy to measure the dosage. The cannabinoid enters the bloodstream quickly when taken sublingually—results can occur in as little as ten minutes and last up to three to four hours.
How fast does CBD work?
How does CBD work? The time between consumption and the appearance of the first manifestations of CBD varies depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to:
CBD content, oil quality and potency
Way of consuming CBD
Dose of CBD you consume
Effects you are trying to achieve or symptoms you intend to reduce
Your weight and other factors such as if you are on medication, when you have meals, etc.
While all of the above factors play a role in how quickly CBD will work in your body, the most dominant factor is the method of consumption.
Typically, you should begin to experience the therapeutic effects of CBD within 1-6 hours, but this may take longer or shorter depending on how you take it.
Side effects of CBD
CBD is generally considered safe. However, some people who take CBD may experience some side effects, including:
diarrhea
fatigue
changes in appetite
changes in weight
CBD may also interact with other medications or supplements you are taking. First you must consult your doctor. Be especially careful when taking medications such as blood thinners. You should not stop taking medications you are already using without first talking to your doctor.
Testimonials for using CBD for anxiety
After a few weeks of antibiotic treatment, hemp products cleared up my bowels. In the morning and in the evening I took BIO hemp oil in a spoonful, and in the evening I took a spoonful, I made “muesli” with 15 g of hemp protein, 15 g of peeled seeds I add 15 g of oatmeal to yogurt.
I take CBD hemp oil because I can’t stand antidepressants, 3 drops in the morning and 5% CBD oil at noon, for a better and more restful sleep I put 3-5 drops in the evening, depending on how restless I feel, or I brew hemp tea with butter.
CBD 5% also helps me get by with fewer painkillers I take for rheumatism and arthritis.
I am very glad that these remedies exist and can be used without any side effects to relieve the symptoms.
After one year of daily use, I feel better.
My illnesses cannot be cured, but they are lessened and more tolerable with the help of hemp products, especially now in winter, I feel how well the hemp treatment is helping me.
Thank you also for the many application tips in your news, which were and are very useful to me, because there is hardly a doctor with whom you could discuss such a treatment.

I use 2% or 5% CBD oil for my fears, depression and sleep disturbance. It helps me to calm down, without fatigue after use, as from psychotropic drugs.
For my epilepsy, I was able to cut down on medication. I also gave the oil to my father for back pain and he is delighted too.

I had problems with feelings of anxiety, nausea and head twitches. Problems arose 2-3 times a day for several hours – which was hell. Since I use CBD every day, I feel much better and can work normally again.

This is actually the story of my 21 year old son. Mine happened about 15 years ago when I used hemp oil instead of chemotherapy.
My son is 21 years old and (had) pronounced BPD. With CBD oil, he controls it. We are all full of enthusiasm. Hardly anyone can imagine this path of suffering with ups and downs, years of fear 24 hours a day while imagining that the police are at the door to tell us that our son has done something to himself and he is no more no. It’s horrible.
He takes CBD oil, hemp protein. I also bake and cook with hemp seeds and hemp oil.
This plant is a gift from God.

I have a sick husband. He has Parkinson’s disease, plus severe anxiety (depression). It has affected the entire right side of his body and he has severe tremors. I started giving him CBD hemp oil along with hemp tea. (Every time he starts getting depressed I give him drops of CBD hemp oil (about every three hours) and the depression subsides. If it wasn’t for these drops and teas, I don’t know how he got over it, and neither do I. .

Hello, I have been suffering from anxiety and depression since childhood, which has gotten much worse over the years. I come from a family with significant psychological burden. I tried various psychiatric drugs, which often made my symptoms worse. Not knowing what else to do, I found a page with natural substances that could help me and found hemp and cannabis products. Specifically, I am talking about the CBD/CBG products that I found on your website. I can say that since using it I feel much better and I manage to control even panic attacks, which is really already a breakthrough. I am very grateful for these products.
