Is Full Spectrum CBD Oil Better Than CBD Isolate?
A CBD isolate can be compared to bread that has been stripped of most of its nutritional value. Each cannabinoid and terpene found in the hemp plant has a specific biochemical effect, and studies have shown that there is great benefit when the entire spectrum of compounds work together to cause what is known as “environment effect”.
In particular, scientists in a 2015 study conducted at the Hadassah School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem concluded that full spectrum CBD oil is more effective in treating inflammation than CBD isolate because the other components in the full spectrum extract are synergistic (i.e. . mutually reinforcing) are associated with CBD.
What are the benefits of full spectrum CBD oil?
Most of the benefits of CBD oil are well known. The full spectrum is more effective on the body because of the above “environment effect”.
The hemp plant contains over 100 compounds known as cannabinoids, one of which, of course, is cannabidiol (CBD). Other common cannabinoids you may encounter in full spectrum CBD hemp oil:
- cannabichromene (CBC): anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antifungal and anticancer properties
- cannabidivarin (CBDV): anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea properties, and it also affects pain and mood disorders. It is especially effective in relieving the symptoms of Crohn’s disease, HIV/AIDS and MS.
- Cannabigerol (CBG): anti-inflammatory, antifungal and anticancer properties. CBG has a positive effect on cancer, glaucoma, inflammation, and skin conditions.
- Cannabinol (CBN): sedative effect, along with anticonvulsant and anti-inflammatory properties
As already mentioned, the main benefit of full spectrum CBD oil is the positive effect when all compounds work in unison.
Full spectrum CBD oil also contains vitamins, essential fats and protein. Vitamins A, C, E, and B are found in high amounts in hemp oil, along with 20 amino acids and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids such as omega 3 and 6. These amino acids speed up your body’s ability to produce protein, which reduces recovery time, and fatty acids essential for heart health.

What are the benefits of CBD isolate?
